The tiny and picturesque village of Kapolcs is hiding at the foot of the Bakony mountain, along the northern curve of the Balaton highlands. As if protected by the loving arms of a mother, it is embraced by the slopes of Kecskekõ (Goat stone), locally called Kali puszta.

The view is really breathtaking with a backdrop of a never-ending concert of chirping birds. Apart from the standard performance of the birds' choir, every summer Kapolcs is the site of the annual Kapolcs Cultural Days, which is one of the biggest festivals of music, theatre and art in the country. Kali puszta is the entrance to a vast natural reserve, offering excellent opportunities for strolling short and longer distances for those who come to visit this place. This is the site of a small farm which offers a peaceful and familiar environment for the indigenous Hungarian domesticated animals. Horses and their colts grazing in the meadow enhance the intimacy of this magical place.

In the shade of a huge old pear tree, there is an intimate peasant house. This house has been fully redecorated inside and outside, its pantry has been transformed into a bathroom. However, the room and the kitchen are furnished with traditional peasant furniture gathered in the village.
In the house there are two separated flats with two beds and a child bed in each room.

The rooms are cleaned twice a week, bed linen and towels are replaced at the same time. At the request of the guests cleaning may be more frequent.
Breakfast with milk, sausage and ham in our own make is provided. There are some restaurants and pubs in the village or nearby where guests can have lunch and dinner.

Guests who stay in the "Vörösmarty" house can take part in the daily life of the farm. For those who arrive on horseback, we can offer lodge and feed for the horses in our summer sheltered stable boxes.
